Entry protection · Access control

Every entry,
accounted for.

Veyla watches the door your access control can’t see, and opens it for the members you can. Tailgating caught with the clip attached. Face-first entry on HID hardware. Fitted in an afternoon, run from your phone.

What Veyla Protect sees

A reader only knows about the people who touch it. A camera looking at the door knows about everyone. Protect counts bodies against badges, and only speaks up when they don't match.

Tailgating

One badge, two people. Your access control records one entry and never learns about the second.

Let in from the inside

A member walks up to the door from the gym floor, pushes it open and waves a mate in. No badge ever happens, so nothing ever fires.

Came in without badging

Someone leaves, the door swings, someone else walks in behind it. The reader was never touched.

Door propped

Wedged for a delivery that never ended. Every unbadged entry is counted until it shuts, and you're told how long it stayed open.

Every alert arrives with the clip. You review it in one tap: warn the member who badged, dismiss it, or mark it not an issue.

How Protect works

Veyla Access · face-first

No app, no card to post, no queue at the desk. A member enrols on their own phone, with consent recorded first, and the door recognises them from the next visit.

The backup lanes, on the same reader

  • FaceThe main lane
  • Card or fobHID Signo readers
  • PINKeypad on the reader
  • BarcodeFor clubs keeping scanners

A member who’d rather not use their face is a first-class state, not a workaround. A fob or PIN works just as well.

01

A text arrives

The member gets a link from your gym the moment they're active. Nothing to download.

02

They say yes

A plain-language consent screen, on its own, before anything is captured. Recorded.

03

One selfie

Taken on their own phone, in about two minutes. It becomes a template the reader can recognise.

04

They walk in

From the next visit, the door opens to their face. Fob and PIN keep working for anyone who'd rather use them.

The kit

No software to configure on site, no network changes. Four pieces, each with one job.
  • 01Door cameraOne per door, mounted inside and looking at the door. It counts people through the doorway and never identifies anyone.
  • 02Edge boxRuns the site. Pre-imaged, pre-paired, fanless. Plug the camera into port one, the uplink into any spare LAN port, and it finds us.
  • 03ControllerHID Aero. Holds the site's credentials and schedules locally, so a door decides in milliseconds even with the internet down.
  • 04Face readerHID Amico. Face, card, fob and PIN on one reader, on one port. Existing barcode scanners can stay on it too.

Protect needs the camera and the box. Access adds the controller and reader. Gates and turnstiles on request.

Install day

Your installer's job is position. Framing, zoom and detection tuning are ours, done remotely after the walk test. Two to three hours on site for one door.
  • 01MountOne camera inside the club, 2.4–3.2 m high, 3–6 m back, square-on to the door. Never on the door's own wall.
  • 02Plug inCamera into port one, uplink into any spare LAN port, power on. It self-registers and keeps itself updated.
  • 03Walk testWalk in the door. The entry appears in the app within moments — camera, cable, box and internet all proven at once.

Who it's for

24/7 clubs

Nobody at the desk at 11 pm. Protect watches the door, texts the member who let someone in — in your gym's name — and puts the clip in your morning brief.

Chains and franchises

Your member system stays the system of record. Veyla attaches to each club, writes check-ins back, and gives head office numbers and health, never clips.

Resellers and integrators

Sold and fitted by the people who already look after a club's cameras and doors. Kits ship pre-paired; tuning is done remotely after the walk test.

No tiers, no ladders. The Protect kit is a one-off; everything else is a monthly line you can read in one breath.

Where it runs

The same box, the same camera, the same app you’d get. We don’t publish its numbers; we’ll show you the app.

Tell us how many doors you run and how you let members in today. We'll come back with what it would take and what it would cost — no pitch deck.
